These Affiliate Program Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern participation in the Guardian Labs Affiliate Program (“Program”). By applying for, accessing, or participating in the Program, you agree to these Terms. Guardian Labs may approve or deny any application at its sole discretion.
1. Affiliate Account Types
The Program offers three account types. Each approved account receives a unique referral code, referral link, and QR code.
Individual Affiliate. An Individual Affiliate promotes Guardian Labs independently. Their own monthly qualifying sales determine their commission tier.
Partner Affiliate (“Partner”). A Partner is an approved gym, business, or organization. A Partner may have approved Coaches associated with its account. A Partner’s commission tier is based on the combined monthly qualifying sales of the Partner’s own code and all of its Coaches’ codes.
Coach. A Coach is a sub-affiliate who applies to join a specific Partner. The Partner approves or removes its Coaches. Guardian Labs may also approve, suspend, remove, or move a Coach to a different Partner.
Partner and Coach commission split. On sales referred by a Coach, commission is calculated at the Partner’s tier and split 50/50 between the Partner and the Coach, unless otherwise agreed in writing. On sales referred directly by the Partner, with no Coach, the Partner receives the full commission.
Applications and accounts. Each person or business may hold one affiliate account and submit one application per login. Guardian Labs may reject or delete duplicate, incomplete, or rejected applications, and may delete accounts that have no sales or payout history.
Changing your code. You may change your referral code from your affiliate dashboard. When you do, your previous code, link, and QR code stop working immediately, and orders placed with them will not be credited to you.
2. Commission Structure
Commission rates are based on qualifying net sales in each calendar month:

Retroactive tiers. When an account reaches a higher tier during a month, that tier’s rate applies to all of its qualifying net sales for that month. Tiers reset at the start of each calendar month. For Partners, the tier is based on the combined sales of the Partner and all of its Coaches.
When a sale counts. A sale counts toward the month in which the order is marked Completed by Guardian Labs, not the month it was placed. An order placed on the last day of one month and completed in the next month counts in the next month. Months follow Guardian Labs’ store time zone.
Estimates and month close. Commission shown in your dashboard during an open month is an estimate. After a month ends, Guardian Labs closes it, locks that month’s tier and commission amounts, and creates payouts. Once a month is closed, its tier is not reduced by later refunds; refunds are handled as described in Section 13.
Guardian Labs may modify commission tiers, rates, qualification requirements, or Program structure upon notice to participants.
3. Qualifying Sales
Commission is calculated on qualifying net sales: the amount the customer paid for products after discounts, excluding the following, as applicable:
- Taxes
- Shipping charges
- Refunds and returns (partial refunds reduce the qualifying amount proportionally)
- Chargebacks
- Canceled, failed, or unpaid orders
- Fraudulent transactions
- Discounts and promotional reductions, including the referral discount
- Store credit or other non-cash portions of an order when designated as non-commissionable
- Orders placed by the affiliate themselves, as described in Section 8
- Orders placed by Hero program members, as described in Section 4
- Any transaction Guardian Labs determines does not represent a legitimate customer purchase
Orders that are pending, on hold, or processing do not count until they are marked Completed. Commissions are not earned until the underlying transaction qualifies under these Terms.
If commission has already been credited or paid on an order that is later refunded, charged back, canceled, found to be fraudulent, or otherwise becomes ineligible, Guardian Labs will deduct that commission as described in Section 13.
4. Referral Attribution and Customer Benefits
How orders are credited. An order is credited to an affiliate only when the customer uses that affiliate’s valid referral link, QR code, or referral code. Guardian Labs does not credit orders placed without one, and is not obligated to add a code to an order after it has been placed.
- Coach code or link: the order is credited to the Coach and the Coach’s Partner.
- Partner code or link: the order is credited to the Partner. At checkout the customer may optionally choose one of that Partner’s active Coaches; if they do, the order is credited to that Coach and the Partner.
- Individual Affiliate code or link: the order is credited to that affiliate.
Only codes belonging to active accounts work. Codes for pending, suspended, rejected, or terminated accounts are not accepted.
Tracking period. A referral link or code is remembered on the customer’s browser for 30 days. If the customer later uses a different valid link or code, the most recent one replaces the earlier one. Customers may remove a code at checkout. Tracking depends on browser cookies, so Guardian Labs is not responsible for lost attribution caused by cleared cookies, a different device or browser, ad or tracking blockers, or similar factors.
Subscriptions. Renewal orders of a subscription that began with a valid referral may continue to be credited to the original affiliate for as long as that affiliate’s account remains active.
Customer benefits. Customers who use a valid referral link or code currently receive a referral discount (currently 10% off the product subtotal) and free standard shipping (UPS Ground) on that order. Guardian Labs sets and may change these benefits. Whether the referral discount combines with other coupons or promotions is determined by Guardian Labs; when it cannot combine, the customer keeps their other discount and the referral discount is not applied.
Hero program members. Referral codes and links cannot be used by Guardian Labs Hero program members while Hero pricing applies to their account. Those orders receive no referral discount and earn no commission.
Records and disputes. Guardian Labs’ tracking system is the official record for attribution and commissions. Guardian Labs may resolve attribution disputes, duplicate referrals, tracking errors, or unusual transactions at its discretion.
5. Affiliate Payouts
Payout methods. Commissions are paid by one of two methods, which you choose when you apply and can change at any time from your affiliate dashboard:
- Zelle. Cash sent to the Zelle email address or U.S. phone number you provide. You are responsible for keeping it accurate. Guardian Labs is not responsible for payments sent to the Zelle information on your account. If no valid Zelle information is on file, your payout is held until you provide it.
- Guardian Labs store credit. Added to a running store-credit balance that you spend on guardianlabs.life with your personal store-credit code. Store credit can be used only on one-time (non-subscription) orders, only by the account holder, has no cash value, cannot be exchanged for cash, and cannot be transferred or resold. Credit used on an order that is later canceled or refunded is returned to your balance.
A change of payout method applies to any payout Guardian Labs has not yet approved. Partners and Coaches are each paid separately, by their own chosen method.
Timing. Payouts for each month are issued by the 15th of the following month (for example, October commissions are paid by November 15), unless a payout is held as described in this section (for example, missing Zelle information) or under Section 12. If the 15th falls on a weekend or holiday, payouts are issued by the next business day. Your dashboard shows each payout’s status.
Taxes. You are responsible for all taxes on your affiliate compensation. Guardian Labs may require a completed IRS Form W-9 or other tax documentation before issuing cash payouts, and may issue Form 1099 where required by law.
Withholding. Guardian Labs may withhold payment while investigating suspected fraud, manipulation, Program abuse, chargebacks, attribution disputes, or violations of these Terms.
6. Research-Use-Only Products
Guardian Labs products designated as research-use-only are sold strictly for research purposes and are not intended for human consumption or human use. Affiliates must accurately represent the research-use status of Guardian Labs products.
Affiliates may not:
- Recommend or promote Guardian Labs research products for human consumption or administration.
- Provide dosing, administration, treatment, or medical instructions for Guardian Labs research products.
- Claim that a Guardian Labs product diagnoses, treats, cures, mitigates, or prevents any disease or medical condition.
- Represent Guardian Labs research products as FDA-approved drugs, medications, dietary supplements, or products approved for human use when they are not.
- Make unsupported claims regarding safety, efficacy, health outcomes, weight loss, muscle growth, injury recovery, disease treatment, or other physiological outcomes.
- Encourage customers to disregard product labeling or Guardian Labs research-use restrictions.
Affiliates discussing scientific research must distinguish research findings from claims about Guardian Labs products. Violation of this section may result in immediate suspension or termination and forfeiture of commissions associated with the prohibited conduct where permitted by law.
7. Advertising and FTC Disclosure Requirements
Affiliates must comply with all applicable advertising, consumer-protection, endorsement, and disclosure requirements, including applicable Federal Trade Commission requirements. Affiliates must clearly disclose their material relationship with Guardian Labs when promoting Guardian Labs or using affiliate links or codes.
Disclosures must be clear, conspicuous, and reasonably understandable to the audience. Examples include:
- “Guardian Labs Affiliate”
- “I earn a commission from purchases made through my link.”
- “Affiliate link. I may receive a commission.”
A disclosure must not be hidden in hashtags, placed where consumers are unlikely to see it, or otherwise presented in a misleading manner. Affiliates are responsible for meeting the requirements of the platform and jurisdiction in which they advertise.
8. Prohibited Promotional Practices
Affiliates may not engage in:
- False or misleading advertising.
- Deceptive claims or representations.
- Spam or unsolicited commercial messaging prohibited by applicable law.
- Fake reviews or testimonials.
- Fabricated scientific claims.
- Misrepresentation of Guardian Labs or its products.
- Trademark bidding or paid-search advertising using Guardian Labs trademarks unless expressly authorized.
- Creating websites, social accounts, domains, or advertisements that impersonate Guardian Labs.
- Representing themselves as employees, owners, agents, or official representatives of Guardian Labs unless specifically authorized.
- Unauthorized coupon, rebate, or discount websites.
- Cookie stuffing, forced clicks, misleading redirects, or other artificial attribution techniques.
- Offering unauthorized discounts, rebates, cash incentives, or representations regarding Guardian Labs pricing.
Your own purchases. Affiliates do not earn commission, qualifying-sales credit, or tier credit on their own purchases. This includes orders placed by a Partner or any of its Coaches through that Partner’s or any of its Coaches’ codes, since those sales share one tier. An affiliate who is not a Hero program member may use a referral code on their own personal orders to receive the customer discount, but those orders earn no commission. Guardian Labs identifies own purchases by the customer account and billing email used, and may also identify them by other means. Repeated or intentional attempts to earn commission on your own purchases, including by using another name or email, may result in suspension or termination.
Affiliates may only use promotional materials, logos, product images, trademarks, and brand assets in accordance with Guardian Labs’ current brand requirements.
9. Social Media and Platform Compliance
Affiliates are responsible for complying with the terms, advertising policies, community standards, and restricted-product policies of any platform they use.
Approval as a Guardian Labs affiliate does not mean that any specific advertisement, post, video, claim, or promotional method has been approved by Guardian Labs or by the applicable platform.
Guardian Labs may require an affiliate to modify or remove content that Guardian Labs reasonably determines violates these Terms, applicable law, platform requirements, or Guardian Labs brand standards.
10. Independent Contractor Relationship
Participation in the Program does not create an employment relationship, partnership, joint venture, franchise, agency relationship, or other fiduciary relationship between an affiliate and Guardian Labs. This applies equally to Partners and their Coaches; a Coach is not an employee or agent of Guardian Labs or of their Partner by reason of the Program.
Affiliates operate independently and are responsible for their own business activities, expenses, taxes, insurance, representations, and legal compliance. Affiliates have no authority to enter into agreements, make commitments, incur obligations, or make representations on behalf of Guardian Labs.
11. Intellectual Property
Guardian Labs retains all ownership rights in its trademarks, logos, product names, photographs, graphics, website content, and other intellectual property.
Approved affiliates receive a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use authorized Guardian Labs marketing materials solely for participation in the Program. Affiliates may not alter Guardian Labs trademarks or create confusingly similar branding without written authorization. All rights granted under this section end when participation in the Program ends.
12. Fraud and Program Manipulation
Guardian Labs maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward deliberate commission manipulation. Prohibited activity includes:
- Creating fraudulent transactions.
- Generating fake customer accounts.
- Holding more than one affiliate account, or applying under multiple names or emails.
- Manipulating referral attribution.
- Using unauthorized automated traffic.
- Misrepresenting transaction sources.
- Coordinating transactions primarily to artificially increase commission tiers.
- Exploiting technical errors, discount systems, or Program functionality.
Guardian Labs may investigate suspicious activity and withhold affected commissions while an investigation is pending.
13. Returns, Refunds, and Chargebacks
Commissions are based on completed qualifying sales. If an order is refunded, returned, canceled, disputed, charged back, or otherwise reversed:
- Before the month closes: the order’s qualifying amount is reduced or removed, and that month’s tier and commission are recalculated.
- After the month closes: the commission on the reversed portion, at that month’s original tier rate, is deducted from your next payout. If your next payout is smaller than the amount owed, the remainder carries forward and is deducted from later payouts until it is covered. Any balance owed is shown on your affiliate dashboard. Guardian Labs may also offset a balance owed against any other amounts due to you under the Program.
On a Coach-referred order, the deduction is split between the Partner and the Coach in the same 50/50 proportion as the original commission.
Affiliate commissions do not override Guardian Labs’ customer refund, shipping, chargeback, or other applicable policies.
14. Program Benefits
Guardian Labs may provide approved affiliates with free shipping, promotional benefits, store credit, product allowances, or other Program benefits. Such benefits are privileges of participation and may be changed, limited, suspended, or discontinued. Unless Guardian Labs expressly states otherwise, Program benefits have no cash value and may not be transferred or resold.
15. Monitoring and Enforcement
Guardian Labs may review publicly available affiliate promotional content to verify compliance with these Terms, and may request correction or removal of content that violates Program requirements.
Depending on the nature and severity of a violation, Guardian Labs may:
- Issue a compliance notice.
- Require content to be corrected or removed.
- Temporarily suspend an affiliate account.
- Withhold commissions associated with disputed or prohibited transactions.
- Terminate participation in the Program.
Serious violations involving fraud, deception, unauthorized medical claims, deliberate circumvention of research-use restrictions, or conduct creating substantial legal or reputational risk may result in immediate termination.
16. Suspension and Termination
Either Guardian Labs or the affiliate may terminate participation in the Program. A Partner may also remove a Coach from its account.
While suspended or after termination, the account’s codes and links stop working, and it earns no commission on orders completed during that time, including subscription renewals. If a Coach is suspended or removed, orders placed through the Partner’s own code continue to be credited to the Partner only.
Upon termination, the affiliate must stop using Guardian Labs affiliate links, codes, trademarks, logos, and other Program materials unless continued use has been expressly authorized.
Legitimate commissions earned before suspension or termination may remain payable, subject to these Terms, applicable refund and chargeback periods, any balance owed under Section 13, and any investigation into Program violations. Termination for fraud or other material violations may result in forfeiture of affected commissions to the extent permitted by law. Guardian Labs retains records of sales, commissions, and payouts after an account ends.
17. Changes to the Program and These Terms
Guardian Labs may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Program, commission structure, eligibility requirements, benefits, attribution rules, payout methods, or these Terms. Material changes may be communicated through the affiliate dashboard, email, website, or another reasonable method.
When a new version of these Terms is published, existing affiliates must accept it from their affiliate dashboard to keep using their account, and access to the dashboard may be limited until they do. Continued participation after the effective date of updated Terms also constitutes acceptance.
18. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Guardian Labs will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from participation in the Program, including losses resulting from tracking interruptions, platform restrictions, account suspensions, technical errors, or lost anticipated commissions. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
19. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by applicable law, affiliates agree to indemnify and hold harmless Guardian Labs and its owners, officers, employees, and representatives from claims, damages, liabilities, penalties, or reasonable expenses arising from the affiliate’s unlawful advertising, unauthorized representations, violation of these Terms, infringement of third-party rights, or other misconduct in connection with the Program.
20. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from participation in the Program will be handled in accordance with applicable law and any additional dispute-resolution provisions adopted by Guardian Labs.
21. No Guarantee of Earnings
Guardian Labs makes no representation, warranty, or guarantee regarding the amount of income an affiliate may earn. Earnings depend on qualifying sales, customer activity, compliance with these Terms, and other factors. Examples of commission amounts or potential earnings are illustrative only and are not a promise of future earnings.
22. Acceptance
By submitting an affiliate application, checking the box to accept these Terms, activating an affiliate account, using a Guardian Labs referral link or code, or otherwise participating in the Program, the affiliate acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Affiliate Program Terms & Conditions.
