Guardian Labs Refund, Reshipment, Shipping, Chargeback & Fraud Policy
Effective Date: September 22, 2026
Guardian Labs is committed to providing accurate order fulfillment, responsive customer service, and fair resolution of legitimate customer concerns.
This policy explains the procedures and requirements that apply to refunds, replacements, reshipments, shipping claims, payment disputes, chargebacks, suspected fraud, and account restrictions.
By placing an order with Guardian Labs, the customer acknowledges and agrees to the policies below, subject to any rights that cannot legally be waived or restricted.
1. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY
Customers are responsible for reviewing all order details before completing checkout.
This includes:
Products ordered
Quantities
Shipping address
Billing information
Email address
Phone number
Shipping method
Promotional codes
Payment information
Customers should contact Guardian Labs as soon as possible if an order contains incorrect information.
Once an order has entered fulfillment or has been transferred to a shipping carrier, Guardian Labs may be unable to modify or cancel the order.
2. ORDER CANCELLATIONS
Cancellation requests must be submitted before the order has been processed for shipment.
Guardian Labs cannot guarantee that a cancellation request will be completed.
If an order has already been packed, labeled, fulfilled, or transferred to the carrier, the order may no longer be eligible for cancellation.
Customers should contact Guardian Labs immediately if they need to request an order cancellation.
3. REFUND POLICY
Refund requests are reviewed individually.
A refund may be considered when:
Guardian Labs shipped the wrong item.
Guardian Labs shipped the wrong quantity.
Guardian Labs confirms that an order was not properly fulfilled.
A duplicate payment was collected.
Guardian Labs approves a refund based on the circumstances of the order.
A refund is otherwise required by applicable law.
Submitting a refund request does not automatically guarantee approval.
Guardian Labs reserves the right to request photographs, packaging images, shipping documentation, transaction information, or other supporting evidence before approving a refund.
4. NON-REFUNDABLE ITEMS
Unless otherwise required by law or specifically approved by Guardian Labs, refunds may not be available for:
Orders that have already been delivered as ordered.
Products opened or altered after delivery.
Orders placed using incorrect customer-provided information.
Orders sent to an incorrect address supplied by the customer.
Customer dissatisfaction that does not involve a fulfillment error.
Delays caused solely by the shipping carrier.
Refusal of delivery.
Orders abandoned or rejected by the customer.
Promotional or complimentary products.
Free gifts.
Store credit.
Gift cards.
Shipping charges after shipment has occurred.
Package protection fees after shipment has occurred.
Guardian Labs may make exceptions at its discretion.
5. REFUND PROCESSING
Approved refunds will generally be returned to the original payment method whenever possible.
Processing times vary by bank, card issuer, and payment provider.
Once Guardian Labs submits a refund, the customer is responsible for allowing reasonable processing time for the financial institution to post the refund.
A pending refund is not considered a failure to refund simply because the financial institution has not yet posted the transaction.
Customers should contact Guardian Labs before filing a chargeback concerning an already-issued refund.
6. STORE CREDIT
In certain circumstances, Guardian Labs may offer store credit instead of a cash refund.
Store credit may be offered for:
Customer-service resolutions
Promotional adjustments
Courtesy accommodations
Shipping issues
Approved product claims
Partial order adjustments
Unless otherwise stated, store credit:
Has no cash value.
Cannot be redeemed for cash.
Cannot be transferred without approval.
May be subject to promotional exclusions.
May be revoked if issued because of fraud, abuse, or error.
7. ORDER ERRORS
Customers should inspect their order promptly after delivery.
If an order contains an incorrect item, missing item, damaged shipment, incorrect quantity, or other fulfillment issue, the customer should contact Guardian Labs as soon as reasonably possible.
Guardian Labs may request:
Photographs of the package
Photographs of the shipping label
Photographs of the contents
Photographs of damaged materials
Order number
Packaging documentation
Carrier information
Customers should retain all packaging until Guardian Labs completes its review.
Discarding packaging or shipping materials may limit Guardian Labs’ ability to verify or resolve the claim.
8. RESHIPMENTS AND REPLACEMENTS
Guardian Labs may approve a replacement or reshipment when it determines that an order was:
Incorrectly fulfilled
Damaged during transit
Lost in transit
Missing confirmed items
Otherwise eligible for replacement
Approval is based on the facts and documentation associated with the order.
Guardian Labs may choose to issue:
A replacement shipment
A partial replacement
Store credit
A refund
Another reasonable resolution
The appropriate remedy will depend on the circumstances.
9. LOST PACKAGES
A package is not automatically considered lost because tracking has temporarily stopped updating.
Carrier scans may be delayed.
Before approving a lost-package claim, Guardian Labs may require:
A reasonable waiting period.
Carrier tracking review.
Carrier investigation.
Customer confirmation that the package was not received.
Verification of the shipping address.
Guardian Labs may also require customers to cooperate with the carrier’s lost-package investigation.
10. PACKAGE MARKED DELIVERED
If tracking shows that a package was delivered but the customer cannot locate it, the customer should first:
Check the delivery location.
Check mailboxes, parcel lockers, porches, garages, and surrounding areas.
Ask household members.
Check with neighbors when appropriate.
Contact the carrier.
Confirm that the shipping address was entered correctly.
Carrier delivery confirmation may be considered evidence that Guardian Labs fulfilled its shipping obligation.
However, Guardian Labs will review reasonable delivery concerns on a case-by-case basis.
11. INCORRECT SHIPPING ADDRESS
Customers are responsible for providing an accurate shipping address.
Guardian Labs is not responsible for delivery failures caused by an incorrect, incomplete, or outdated address supplied by the customer.
If a shipment is returned to Guardian Labs because of an incorrect customer-provided address, Guardian Labs may require payment of additional shipping charges before reshipment.
Guardian Labs is not obligated to refund shipping costs resulting from customer address errors.
12. RETURNED OR REFUSED SHIPMENTS
Customers should not intentionally refuse a shipment without first contacting Guardian Labs.
Refused, rejected, abandoned, or unclaimed shipments may not automatically qualify for a refund.
If a shipment is returned to Guardian Labs, the customer may be responsible for:
Original shipping charges
Return shipping charges
Additional reshipping charges
Carrier fees
Guardian Labs may deduct applicable shipping or carrier costs from any approved refund where permitted.
13. DAMAGED SHIPMENTS
If a shipment arrives damaged, the customer should contact Guardian Labs promptly.
Customers should provide clear photographs showing:
Exterior packaging
Shipping label
Internal packaging
Damaged items
Visible leakage, breakage, crushing, or other damage
Customers should not discard the shipment or packaging until Guardian Labs completes its review.
Guardian Labs may require documentation for carrier insurance or shipping claims.
14. SHIPPING DELAYS
Guardian Labs provides estimated fulfillment and shipping timelines.
Shipping estimates are not guaranteed delivery dates unless specifically stated otherwise.
Carrier delays may occur because of:
Weather
Holidays
Transportation disruptions
Regional service interruptions
Carrier errors
Natural disasters
Government restrictions
Operational disruptions
A carrier delay alone does not automatically qualify an order for a refund or chargeback.
15. PACKAGE PROTECTION
When package protection is offered and purchased, claims may be subject to the terms and limitations associated with the applicable protection program.
Customers may be required to submit supporting documentation within the claim period.
Failure to submit required information or cooperate with the claims process may affect eligibility.
16. PROMOTIONAL ORDERS
Promotional discounts, free items, bundled products, rewards, credits, or other incentives are subject to the terms of the applicable promotion.
If an order is partially refunded, cancelled, returned, disputed, or charged back, Guardian Labs may adjust promotional benefits accordingly.
This may include:
Removing free-item eligibility
Recalculating discounts
Reversing rewards points
Revoking promotional credits
Deducting the value of complimentary items from an eligible refund when permitted
Customers may not manipulate promotions, discount codes, account registrations, or referral systems to obtain benefits that were not intended by the promotion.
17. CONTACT GUARDIAN LABS BEFORE FILING A PAYMENT DISPUTE
Guardian Labs requires customers to make a reasonable attempt to contact Guardian Labs regarding any order, billing, shipping, refund, or payment concern before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute.
Customers should provide:
Full name
Order number
Description of the concern
Relevant documentation
This requirement gives Guardian Labs an opportunity to investigate the issue and resolve legitimate problems directly.

If a customer files a chargeback without first making a reasonable attempt to resolve the issue with Guardian Labs, Guardian Labs reserves the right to:
Contest the chargeback.
Submit supporting evidence.
Suspend the customer’s account.
Cancel pending orders.
Refuse future transactions.
Permanently prohibit the customer from purchasing from Guardian Labs.

Guardian Labs will only provide information reasonably related to the dispute.
19. UNAUTHORIZED TRANSACTION CLAIMS
Customers who believe their payment information was used without authorization should contact Guardian Labs promptly.
Guardian Labs will cooperate with legitimate fraud investigations.
A genuinely unauthorized transaction should be reported promptly to the appropriate payment provider or financial institution.
Nothing in this policy is intended to prevent a customer from exercising lawful rights involving actual fraud, identity theft, or unauthorized payment activity.
20. FRIENDLY FRAUD AND CHARGEBACK ABUSE
Guardian Labs considers knowingly false or misleading chargeback claims to be chargeback abuse.
Examples may include situations where a customer:
Claims not to recognize a transaction they knowingly authorized.
Claims an order was not received despite verified delivery.
Claims a refund was never issued when payment records confirm otherwise.
Claims merchandise was not provided when documentation shows fulfillment.
Files a dispute after receiving a replacement or agreed resolution.
Makes materially false statements to obtain both the merchandise and a refund.
Repeatedly uses chargebacks instead of contacting customer service.
Guardian Labs reserves the right to contest these disputes and restrict future purchases.
21. FRAUD PREVENTION AND ORDER REVIEW
Guardian Labs may use fraud-prevention systems and manual order review to protect customers and the business.
An order may be held, cancelled, or refunded if Guardian Labs identifies unusual or potentially fraudulent activity.

Billing and shipping mismatches
Unusual purchase patterns
Repeated declined transactions
High-risk payment indicators
Multiple customer identities
Unusual account activity
Previous chargebacks
Previous fraudulent transactions
Attempts to bypass transaction limits

In higher-risk situations, Guardian Labs may request additional verification before processing an order.
Verification may include confirmation of:
Billing information
Shipping information
Email address
Phone number
Payment ownership
Order authorization
Guardian Labs will not request sensitive information unless reasonably necessary and will handle information according to applicable privacy practices.
If required verification cannot be completed, Guardian Labs may cancel and refund the transaction.

Guardian Labs reserves the right to refuse future transactions when reasonably necessary to protect the business, its customers, or its payment systems.
This may include customers associated with:
Fraud
Repeated chargebacks
Threats
Payment abuse
Promotional abuse
Identity misrepresentation
Repeated policy violations
Repeated refusal to cooperate with legitimate order investigations
Where appropriate, Guardian Labs may permanently suspend purchasing privileges.
Nothing in this provision permits discrimination prohibited by applicable law.
25. DISPUTES INVOLVING DELIVERED ORDERS
If a customer disputes a transaction for merchandise confirmed as delivered, Guardian Labs may submit tracking and delivery confirmation to the payment provider.
Depending on the carrier and available records, this may include:
Tracking history
Delivery date
Delivery location
Signature confirmation
Carrier delivery scan
Delivery photograph
Address confirmation
Guardian Labs will respond based on the available evidence.
26. DUPLICATE REFUNDS AND DOUBLE RECOVERY
Customers are not entitled to receive both:
A refund, replacement, store credit, or other reimbursement from Guardian Labs, and
A separate recovery through a chargeback for the same loss.
If a chargeback is filed after Guardian Labs has already provided compensation, Guardian Labs may contest the chargeback and submit evidence of the prior resolution.
27. PENDING CHARGEBACKS
Once a chargeback is opened, Guardian Labs may be limited in its ability to issue additional refunds through the original transaction.
Customers should communicate with Guardian Labs before initiating a dispute whenever reasonably possible.
If a chargeback has already been filed, Guardian Labs may require the payment-provider dispute process to conclude before additional reimbursement is issued.
28. EVIDENCE RETENTION
Guardian Labs may retain business records reasonably necessary to:
Fulfill orders
Resolve customer complaints
Process refunds
Respond to disputes
Prevent fraud
Comply with accounting obligations
Comply with legal obligations
Defend legitimate business interests
Records may include transaction, order, fulfillment, shipping, customer-service, and checkout acceptance information.
29. FALSE OR MISLEADING INFORMATION
Customers must provide accurate information when placing orders or requesting refunds, replacements, or other resolutions.
Guardian Labs may deny a claim when it reasonably determines that the customer submitted materially false, altered, or misleading information.
Guardian Labs may also restrict future purchasing privileges in cases involving intentional fraud or abuse.
30. CUSTOMER COOPERATION
Customers seeking a refund, reshipment, replacement, or other resolution must reasonably cooperate with Guardian Labs’ investigation.
This may include providing:
Photographs
Tracking details
Written descriptions
Carrier claim information
Order information
Payment details sufficient to locate the transaction
Failure to provide reasonably requested information may prevent Guardian Labs from validating the claim.

Guardian Labs may update this policy from time to time.
